2023: NFCA All-Pacific Region Third-Team...All-Pac-12 First-Team...twice named All-Pac-12 Freshman of the Week...batted .368 with 43 hits in 47 games, scoring 24 runs, driving in 16 and swiping nine bases without being caught...collected three hits and scored twice on 3/18 at Arizona...added two doubles, four RBIs and scored another run on 3/19 against the Wildcats...in a doubleheader against Arizona State on 4/8, Dayton went 7-for-7, scored twice, drove in three runs and stole a base...put together a 13-game hit streak from 4/30 - 5/28...scored five runs over three games at NCAA Regionals.
Prior to Utah: Competed in two sports at Norco High School, lettering in softball and volleyball...a four-year varsity starter for the softball team...twice named all-league and earned an all-state selection in 2021...helped lead the team to national, state and CIF championships in 2019...as a junior, put together a 25-game hitting streak and barreled-up eight home runs...led the team in on-base percentage and stolen bases as a freshman...ranked as the #18 player in the class of 2022...played travel ball for the Batbusters, coached by Mike Stith.
