- Longest outing came vs. Houston (Feb. 24), going 3.1 innings.
- Struck out one in relief at Arizona (April 22).
Prior to Utah
- Played scholastically at Westlake High School under Thunder head coach Taylor McFarland.
- Perfect Game ranked Sumner as the No. 4 overall player in Utah for the Class of 2022 and No. 3 shortstop.
- Two-time Perfect Game Preseason All-West Region First Team (2021, ’22).
