Cameron D’Angelo begins his second season with Utah Football and his first as a graduate assistant working with the defensive ends. D’Angelo graduated from the University of Central Florida, with a degree in sports & exercise science and a minor in coaching in 2016.
He started working for the UCF Knights as an undergraduate in spring of 2016 as an equipment manager under the newly hired Scott Frost’s coaching staff. D’Angelo progressed through the football program at UCF, taking on various responsibilities such as a student assistant and joining the strength and conditioning staff as an intern in the summer of 2017.
With those gained experiences, D’Angelo traveled to Miami, Fla. in late summer of 2017 where he helped his running backs gain over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 15 TDs in just six games. D’Angelo was then able to join Josh Heupel’s transition team in late 2017, assisting Coach Heupel with the inception of his program and assisting the newly hired recruiting department.
He then traveled to Fort Scott Community College and worked in a fast paced air raid offense and coached their D1 bound running backs. Finally, he comes from Alderson Broaddus University where he coached linebackers and helped build a newly started sprint football program.
