D.J. Gillins is in his first season as offensive graduate assistant at Utah.
Gillins competed collegiately at Wisconsin (2014-15), Pearl River Community College (2016), SMU (2017) and UTSA (2018), playing both wide receiver and quarterback during his career.
Gillins was a quality control assistant at Utah State during spring football in 2019 before spending the fall as a wide receiver graduate assistant coach at Arkansas. Â
A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Gillins earned his degree in sociology from SMU.
