Justin Mullgrav is in his second year as a graduate assistant coach, assisting the Utes’ defensive staff.
Mullgrav joined the program in 2019 from Fort Scott Community College where he coached the linebackers for one season. Prior to that he spent one year as linebackers coach at ASA College Miami.
In 2016 Mullgrav had a brief stint in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ player personnel department, where he served as a scouting intern. In that role he assisted the scouting staff in generating scouting reports on both collegiate and professional players through extensive film review.
A native of Old Bridge, N.J., Mullgrav was an outstanding linebacker at South Carolina State, where he guided the Bulldogs to two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles and playoff appearances during his career. A criminal justice major, Mullgrav earned his degree from SCSU in 2015 and earned his Master’s degree from the University of Miami in 2016.
