Mikey Jacobsen is in his fourth season with the Utah football program in 2019, and his second as an offensive graduate assistant. In that role he works with the Utes’ wide receivers.
    Jacobsen previously worked as an undergraduate volunteer assisting the offensive staff for the 2016 season and in 2017 was an offensive and special teams administrative assistant.
    A 2018 Utah graduate, Jacobsen received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Spanish. He served an LDS mission in Monterrey, Mexico.
    Jacobsen is a native of North Salt Lake, Utah. His father Eric was an all-conference selection and captain of the football team during his time at Utah (1984-88), and his uncle Chad also lettered for the Utes (2004-05). His sister, Eden, is a member of the Utes’ soccer program and his grandfather, Mike, spent 29 years as the athletics director at Utah Valley University.
