2022: Started at defensive tackle and contributed two stops during the season opener at Florida.
2021: Saw action as a reserve defensive tackle in nine games on the season, recording four tackles.
- Had one tackle apiece against Weber State, BYU and No. 18 Arizona State.
- First career sack went for eight yards in the Pac-12 Championship vs. No. 10 Oregon.
2020: Played in all five games, starting two.
- 10 total tackles (3.0 TFL) with one quarterback hurry.
- Career-high five tackles (2.0 TFL) against Washington State.
High School: Four-star recruit by ESPN, rated the No. 6 player in the state of Utah by 247Sports.
- Two-time all-state, earning first-team honors as a senior at East HS.
- Two-time first-team all-region and 2017 All-USA Utah first-team.
- 2018 Polynesian Bowl.
- Led the state in sacks (18.5) and ranked sixth in tackles (136) as a senior.
- 27 solo tackles with five sacks in 2016.
Personal: Son of Una and Ngatu … has two sisters and a brother … cousins Fua Pututau (junior) and Taniela Pututau (redshirt freshman) are all on the current Utah roster … cousin Hauati Pututau was a defensive tackle at Utah from 2016-21 and is now with the Green Bay Packers ... served an LDS church mission before enrolling in school.
