The latest gymnastics national rankings, released late Tuesday, have Utah at No. 6, a one place improvement from the previous week. Utah moved ahead of LSU. Michigan is No. 1, followed by Georgia, UCLA, Alabama and Nebraska. Utah has one more opportunity to move up in the rankings, which determine where a team is sent for regionals. The Utes will compete at BYU on Saturday. Individually, Ute senior Denise Jones is now tied for sixth in the all-around with a 39.390 regional qualifying score (RQS). Sophomore Deidra Graham is 10th all-around (39.315). Graham is tied for eighth on the uneven bars (9.910).
