Ute Gymnasts Win Academic Honors Eight University of Utah gymnasts were named Scholastic All-Americans for the 2000-01 academic year. Kim Allan, Shannon Bowles, Theresa Kulikowski, Veronique Leclerc, Annie Medcalf, Lindsay Tanner, Kylee Wagner, and Theresa Wolf all made the Scholastic All-America team after receiving a 3.5 or better GPA.
As a team, the Ute gymnasts compiled a 3.615 GPA spring semester. Eleven of the 12 team members qualified for the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.0 and above) and six made the Dean's List (3.5 and above). Bowles, Kulikowski, Medcalf and Wolf all earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages spring. In her three years on campus, Kulikowski has yet to receive below an A in a class.
