The University of Utah gymnastics team, which beat No. 6 ranked Arizona by nearly a point last Friday, has shot two spots in the national rankings to No. 2. The Utes trail only Georgia in the new rankings, released on Monday. Utah is ranked No. 1 on two apparatus (bars, 49.60 high) and floor (49.625) and is second on the beam (49.425). Theresa Kulikowski is ranked No. 1 on bars, having scored the only 10.0 on bars in the nation this year, and is tied with teammate Shannon Bowles for No. 1 on the balance beam (9.95 high). Utah meets No. 7 ranked Minnesota this Friday starting at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center.
