Megan Maxwell Earned Soccer Honor

Senior defender Megan Maxwell has been named to the Soccer America Team of the Week after helping the Utes to a 5-1 Mountain West Conference romp over San Diego State last week. Maxwell's 35-yard strike against SDSU was her first goal of the year. Maxwell also paced the defense that allowed eight shots--six on target--in wins over Aztecs and UNLV.

This Pasco, Washington native has started every game this season. She has accumulated two points and eight-shots, which has helped Utah reach its best winning-percentage in school history (11-1-3, 4-0-1 MWC).
