Amber Brower Named To Academic All-District VIII Soccer Team

SALT LAKE CITY - Amber Brower, a senior forward on the Utah women's soccer team, has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII second team.

Brower, who has a 3.301 grade point average in business, has helped lead the Utes to a No. 17 NSCAA/adidas ranking and the Mountain West Conference regular season championship this season. The Hyrum, Utah, native leads the Utes with eight goals, including three game-winners, and has three assists. Brower was named the 2003 MWC Offensive Player of the Year earlier this week.
