The Utah gymnastics team jumped one place to No. 6 in the latest national rankings after scoring a 197.475 in a win over LSU last Friday. Filling Utah's former No. 7 position is this week's Ute opponent, a surging Florida team. Ahead of Utah is UCLA, Nebraska, Arizona State, Georgia and Alabama.
Utah has four individuals ranked in the top 10, which is based on regional qualifying score. Sophomore Annabeth Eberle is ranked seventh in the all-around (39.505 RQS), eighth on floor exercise (9.940) and 10th on beam (9.915). Melissa Vituj is ranked third on the beam (9.945) and seventh on floor (9.945). Theresa Kulikowski is tied for second on the bars (9.935) and Kim Allan is ranked ninth on the bars (9.915).
