She had huge air, hugeamplitude and totally stuck thelanding. She received a 10.0 fromone judge and 9.95s from the other three.Annabeth Eberle's vault was as goodin the air as Tidd's, but she had avery small step on her landing.
BARSDominique D'Oliveira 9.900Veronique Leclerc 9.950Annabeth Eberle 8.400Melissa Vituj 9.950Rachel Tidd 9.900Nicolle Ford 9.950UB: 49.650; Running: 197.625Utah bar notes:Dominque D'Oliveira had one of herbetter routines I've seen. One smallstep on the dismount.Veronique Leclerc is in postseasonform for sure. Handstands stuck, dismount stuck, etc.Annabeth Eberle hit her foot onher release move and couldn't catch thebar for her first fall of the year. Thenshe fell on her dismount.Really great routine by MelissaVituj. Stuck her triple twistdismount dead on. Handstands lookedgreat.Rachel Tidd was heading for a hugescore before a step on her dismount.Nicolle Ford clinched a victoryfor the Utes with a great routine underbig pressure.
BEAMNatalie Nicoloff 9.750Kristen Riffanacht 9.775Rachel Tidd 9.300Nicolle Ford 9.900Annabeth Eberle 9.800Melissa Vituj 9.950BB: 49.175; Running: 49.175Utah beam notes:
Natalie Nicoloff started out with a really nice routine. She had a small bobble coming out of her layout and a tiny stepon her landing. Everything else was solid and confident.Kristen Riffanacht had a balance check coming off her layoutbut was really clean and solid on the rest of the routine.Rachel Tidd had a great routine going and totally nailedher series before falling off on her front tuck. Really toobad because this would have been a great routine.Nicolle Ford just had a beauty. She took out her fronttuck, per pre-meet orders if there was a fall precedingher. However, she kept in both layouts on the flickflack lay-lay and nailed it.Annabeth Eberle saved that one baby. On her somersault mountshe missed a foot, but recovered magnicently. The restof the routine was 10.0 material.Melissa Vituj just had a ball. She had a huge grinthroughout. There was not a single miscue or bobble. This routine looked perfect, but it is regionals wherescores are lower.
FLOORKristen Riffanacht 9.850Stephanie Lim 9.850Nicolle Ford 9.850Gritt Hofmann 9.900Annabeth Eberle 9.825Melissa Vituj 9.875FX: 49.325; Running: 98.500Utah floor notes:Kristen Riffanacht had a great routine, nailingher double pike and doing nice leaps and jumps. The only deduction I saw was a littlelean on her double pike on the last pass.Stephanie Lim showed little evidenceof the missed training due to a shin injury. She nailed her full in on the first passand her piked double back on the last pass. She did step out of a leap for a deduction.Nicolle Ford replaced an ill Rachel Tidd inthe floor lineup right before the meet. The floor scoring looks to be really tight.Gritty skied high on her full in and hadone of her better routines of the yearoverall.Annabeth Eberle got socked fora mistake on her second pass when sheappeared to slide on the chalk line andskittered a step. It didn't disruptthe flow at all and the rest of herroutine was great.Again, Melissa Vituj's routine wasoutstanding. All I saw was a little leanon her first pass. She might have not gone quite farenough toward the corner on her lastpass.
