She hadbig amplitude and stuck it like glue.Nicolle Ford had a very slow approach, which hurt herin terms of height. She stuck the landing great.Ashley Postell had a picture perfect vault with justa breath of a step. All I saw on Rachel Tidd's vault was she landed kind of tothe side of the vault. Her flight was good.Annabeth Eberle was right on. Big amplitude, nice landing, just about perfect to me. This was the best vault byeither team all night.
BARS BARSAudrey Bowers 9.050 Katie Kivisto 9.725Nikki Childs 9.775 Dominique D'Oliveira 9.175Megan Dowlen 9.825 Annabeth Eberle 9.825Katie Heenan 9.825 Ashley Postell 9.675Kelsey Ericksen 9.925 Nicolle Ford 9.825Ashley Kupets 9.850 Rachel Tidd 9.925UB: 49.200; Running: 98.675 UB: 48.975; Running: 48.975Utah bar notes:Katie Kivisto nearly missed the bar on her mount, but didn'tlet it affect her. Except for one kind of slow turn on the topbar, she managed a really nice routine.Dominique D'Oliveira went down early on handstand on thetop bar.Annabeth Eberle got the crowd going with her big release. Shepaused a bit to catch her breath one time, but then nailedher landing.Ashley Postell had a beautiful routine going, but took two anda half steps back on her landing.Nicolle Ford had a nice routine start to finish. I didn't seemuch in the way of deductions. This was a beauty by Rachel Tidd. She hit everything, everyhandstand was good, her flow was smooth and her landing abig stick.
BEAM BEAMKelsey Ericksen 9.275 Gabriella Onodi 9.825Megan Dowlen 9.775 Kristen Riffanacht 9.850Brittany Smith 9.900 Rachel Tidd 9.875Nikki Childs 9.925 Nicolle Ford 9.925Ashley Kupets 9.750 Annabeth Eberle 9.950Katie Heenan 9.675 Ashley Postell 9.950BB: 49.025; Running: 147.700 BB: 49.150; Running: 197.150Utah beam notes:Gabi Onodi was really confident and on track from start tofinish. I get scared of the punch front, but she reallywent for it.Kristen Riffanacht was also right on from start to finish. No balance checks, etc.Rachel Tidd was as aggressive as I've seen her in the pastfew meets.Nicolle Queenie Ford was a queen with an attitude tonight. She did her full layout series and was totally in control. She stuck her landing dead--best of the year for her.Annabeth Eberle finished a fantastic night with a career-tying9.95 and deserved every tenth.Ashley Postell could have won another World Championshipwith this routine.
FLOOR FLOORNikki Childs 9.850 Gabriella Onodi 9.725Megan Dowlen 9.850 Rachel Tidd 9.825Brittaqny Smith 9.925 Ashley Postell 9.900Nikki Childs 9.925 Annabeth Eberle 9.900Ashley Kupets 9.950 Gritt Hofmann 9.850Katie Heenan 9.925 Nicolle Ford 9.850FX: 49.575; Running: 197.275 FX: 49.325; Running: 147.600Utah floor notes:Gabriella Onodi seemed to be a bit ahead of her musicon the first pass, but hit it. She was kind of low herher layout, layout on the final pass, but also hitthat. I think she was counted down for generalimpression.Rachel Tidd really looked good. She had a little skidcoming out of her last pass. Everything else wason the money.OK, Ashley Postell's routine was just amazing. I haveno clue how one judge found it to be a 9.85. I don'teven know what to say.Annabeth Eberle also had a great routine. Her tumblingwas gigantic and right on target. Her dance and leapswere clean and impressive. At least to me.Gritt Hofmann didn't open with her full-in, going withthe double pike instead. I'm assuming it's because ofher bad wrist. She really sold the routine.Nicolle Ford was pushed down to last in the lineup becauseshe was inserting some big upgrade. Unfortunately, Idon't know what it was so I don't know if she did it, buther routine was very well done.
