- Utah's series record against TCU improves to 7-1. The Utes have won five straight over the Horned Frogs.
- The Utes had their most decisive win in a conference home game (35 points) since defeating UNLV by 44 (96-52) on Feb. 21, 2000.
- With today's win, the Utes snap a five-game losing streak. The five-game skid tied for the sixth longest in school annals.
- Utah went into halftime with the 27-25 lead. The Utes had trailed at halftime in each of their last three games. They are now 8-1 when holding the lead at half.
- In conference home games over the past 12 seasons, Utah is 80-6. The Utes' winning percentage (.930) ranks second in the nation over that period to Kansas' .932 (82-6) mark.
- Utah scored 53 points in the second half. That is the most points Utah has scored in a half this season. The Utes shot .586 from the field in the second stanza, connecting on 17-of-29 attempts.
- Utah's defense held the Horned Frogs to a .300 shooting percentage. That is the lowest shooting percentage by a Utah opponent this season. TCU's 15 total field goals were also a season-low by a Ute opponent.
- Freshman center Luke Nevill led the Utes with 18 points, going a career-high 8-for-8 from the foul line. That marks the third straight game he has either led or tied for the team lead in points. The 18 points was one shy of his career high (19 vs. Rice on 12/3).
- Johnnie Bryant tallied 15 points in addition to five assists. He has posted double-digit scoring numbers in six of the last seven games and has led the team in assists seven times this year.
