VT: 48.40; Running: 48.40 VT: 49.175; Running: 98.050Utah vault notes:Jessica Duke had good amplitude and flight. She bounced a little when she landedon the matt, but she didn't take astep or anything.Nina Kim had a big vaultwith great distance. She probably gota deduction for the face she made whenshe landed!Nicolle Ford was a little weepy after herbar routine, but she put on her Queenface and hit a big vault.Annie DiLuzio went for the rafters onthat vault. She was docked for a stepon her landing.Kristina Baskett's vault was totallysolid except for very slight movementon her landing.Unfortunately, I missed Ashley's vault, but SL Tribune reporter Lya Wodraskasaid it was a beauty but for a littlestep on her landing.Sarah Shire had a fabulous vault inexhibition, scoring a 9.875. Greatstick.

UB:48.800; Running: 97.200 UB: 48.875; Running: 48.875Utah bar notes:Jessica Duke had a really nice, clean routine.Handstands were good, big swings and anice stick on the landing.Daria Bijak received a 9.8 from one judge butjust a 9.65 from the other. I'm not surewhere that big of a deduction came fromsince the only real miscue she made was a stepon the dismount.Nina Kim probably was deducted for a handstandthat wasn't completely straight and a leanon her dismount (she did not step).Kristina Baskett was really scored tight. She flew through the routine and it lookedlike a beauty.Ditto on Ashley Postell. She was very smoothand had a very small quarter of a step onan otherwise aggressive dismount.Nicolle Ford had trouble early in the routinewhen she had a break on the top bar. Thenshe stumbled almost to her knee on thedismount.

BB: 48.675; Running: 145.875 BB: 48.900; Running: 195.875Utah beam notes:Jessica Duke had two balance checks and washit for them.I know I'm a big Ute, but I have to tellyou that Kristina Baskett's routine wasan absolute beauty and I have no idea howsomeone saw .15 deduction.Hel-lo Sarah Shire. Holy cow that was a coolroutine. She does this nifty series usingone arm instead of two, in front of a layout.I liked this routine for a 9.90.Annie DiLuzio does everything big andaggressively -- even her balance checks. Veryimpressive job of staying on board.Nina Kim crashed on her mount. She looked lowand off to the side in flight and I couldtell she wouldn't be able to save it.OK, that was vintage Ashley Postell. She didn'thave an eyelash out of place and absolutelywowed this place.
FLOOR FLOORAlexis Russell 9.625 Jessica Duke 9.650Angela Walker 9.450 Katie Kivisto 9.825Amanda Miles 9.150 Annie DiLuzio 9.775Ashley Stanton 9.550 Nicolle Ford 9.075Andy Cornelius 9.800 Kristina Baskett 9.775Carmelina Carabajal 9.825 Ashley Postell 9.900
FX:48.250; Running: 194.125 FX: 48.925; Running: 146.975Utah floor notes:Jessie Duke had a nice floor routine. She hitall of her tumbling and looked like she washaving fun on the dance. I have no idea whyher score was so low. That is the best floor routine I've everseen from Katie Kivisto and she tied hercareer high.Annie had great amplitude and I wonder ifit almost hurt her score in a way, becausewhen she came down, she almost bounced upoff the mat.Queenie is just having a time of it tonight. She went into her front tuck really lowon her first pass and landed on her seat.Kristina Baskett's front double pike was sky highand she nailed it. The only thing I sawwrong with the entire routine was a stepback on her final pass.Ashley Postell just tore it up. Shejust rocked that routine. Stuck everything, great tumbling, beautiful dance. In exhibition, Beth Rizzo was very impressiveand received a 9.775.
