SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's soccer team celebrated its Mountain West Conference championship season last Saturday night at the historic Peery Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Utes completed perhaps their finest season ever last fall. In addition an undefeated conference season (7-0), the Utes rose as high as No. 10 in the national rankings, had a program record 12-game winning streak and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Utah finished 16-5-1 overall under fifth-year head coach Rich Manning.

Also, seven seniors were honored for their tremendous contributions to Utah soccer: Katie Battazzo, Amanda Feigt, McKenzie Joyner, Ashley Mason, Hailey Marsh, Melissa Wayman, Carisse Winegar.
