SALT LAKE CITY -
The No. 3 ranked Utah gymnasts host No. 25 Washington tonight, Friday, Jan. 23, in the Huntsman Center. The meet starts at 7 p.m. Fans wearing pink, symbolizing breast cancer awareness, will receive free general admission seating. Tonight's meet is also autograph night. The Ute gymnasts will sign posters after the competition. For reserved seating, please contact the Utah ticket office at 801-581-UTIX, www.UtahUtes.com, or visit the Huntsman Center box office.
In other Utah gymnastics news, season ticket sales have topped 5,000 for the first time in school history. As of this morning, Utah's season ticket count was 5,612. The Utes drew a crowd of 12,951 to their first home meet of the 2009 season against UCLA on Jan. 9 and have averaged 12,840 fans a home meet since the 1992 season. The Ute gymnasts have won 24 of 27 NCAA gymnastics attendance titles.
