THIS WEEK IN UTAH GYMNASTICS
The No. 4-ranked Utah gymnasts (3-0) return home for a meet against No. 2 Stanford (7-0) on Friday, Jan. 28 in Salt Lake City. The meet starts at 7 p.m. MT in the Huntsman Center. Free live video and scores can be found on UtahUtes.com. The meet will be televised tape-delayed on KUCW (Sunday at noon MT) and The Mtn. (Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. MT).
ONE-TWO PUNCH
Both of Utah's first two home opponents have been ranked in the top two in the country. UCLA was ranked No. 1 when it visited the Huntsman Center on Jan. 7 (a 195.700-195.300 Ute win). This week's opponent, Stanford, is ranked No. 2. In other ranking news, Utah remains at No. 4 this week. At No. 3 is Georgia, a team Utah beat on the road on Jan. 15. ROBARTS OUT
Senior All-American
Kyndal Robarts, the nation's top-ranked vaulter, injured her knee in pre-meet warm-ups at Nebraska last Saturday. Robarts will have an MRI today (Jan. 23) to determine the extent of the damage. The two-time first-team All-American (vault 2008, beam 2010) was Utah's final competitor on vault, beam and floor prior to the injury. She has 15 career victories, including two on vault in Utah's first two meets of 2011. Considered of the most consistent gymnasts in Utah's history, she has hit 95% of her career routines (115-121).

Freshmen have performed nearly half of Utah's routines (33-72, 46%) and are without a fall (33-33) through the first three meets ... Overall, Utah has hit 67-72 routines ... Utes without a fall this season are

McAllister is ranked No. 9 in the all-around (39.258 average) and is tied for 10th on bars (9.858). Lothrop is ranked 14th in the all-around (39.125). Corrie Lothrop earned her first two career victories--winning the all-around with a career-high 39.375 and tying for first on beam with freshman
Mary Beth Lofgren (9.85).
Stephanie McAllister won the uneven bars with a career-high 9.925, and finished second in the all-around (39.300).
SERIES SHORTS

Utah leads the series with Stanford 16-3, though Stanford held the upper hand the last time they met, placing fourth in the NCAA Super Six to Utah's sixth-place finish ...
