-Utah went 13-of-24 from 3-point range, tying for the third-most made 3-pointers in a game in school history.
-Utah shot over 50% from 3-point range, recording season-bests in 3-pointers made and 3-point field goal percentage, for the second straight game. The Utes made 13-of-24 from long range (54.2%), after knocking down 11-of-21 (52.4%) at Portland on Dec. 31.
-Utah did not go to the free throw line in the first half. It was the first time all year that Utah did not earn at least one free throw attempt in a half. The Utes finished the game 2-of-3 at the line, recording season-lows in free throws made and free throws attempted.
-Junior guard Chris Kupets logged career-highs in points, field goals and 3-point field goals for the second straight game. He racked up 25 points on 10-of-18 from the field, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range. Kupets scored 15 of those points in the first half alone.
-Junior wing Will Clyburn finished the game with 16 points. He has now scored double figures in all 15 games this year. He also recorded a career-high two blocked shots.
-Sophomore center Jason Washburn led the team in rebounding with six boards, including three on the offensive glass.
-With three blocks in the game, junior center David Foster lifted his career blocks total to 163. Currently in second place all-time at Utah, Foster trails only Luke Nevill, who holds the career record with 205 rejections from 2005-09.
-Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 41 of his last 44 games over the last two years and has blocked multiple shots in 34 of those contests.
-Utah started with its eighth different starting lineup of the year: David Foster (C), Jay Watkins (F), Will Clyburn (W), J.J. O'Brien (G), Josh Watkins (G).
-Utah head coach Jim Boylen did not travel to the game due to a family illness.
-Utah slipped to 1-5 in road games this year.
