OREGON STATE UTAHVAULT VAULTStephanie McGregor 9.775 Lia Del Priore 9.725Leslie Mak 9.775 Jacquelyn Johnson 9.750Makayla Stambaugh 9.850 Mary Beth Lofgren 9.825Kelsi Blalock 9.775 Nansy Damianova 9.875Becky Colvin 9.800 Stephanie McAllister 9.800Britney Ranzy 9.900 Gael Mackie 9.750VT: 49.100; Running: 49.100 VT: 49.000; Running: 98.325Utah vault notes:Lia's vault had no big deductions. I guess maybeshe didn't get enough air under it.Jacquelyn Johnson looked straight and cleanin the air. Stuck the landing but with herchest a little low.One of MB Lofgren's better vaults. She mighthave been dinged for not quite holdingher landing long enough.Nansy Damianova had another big, impressive vault.Small step on the landing.Stephanie McAllister couldn't quite stay putlong enough on her landing before she took astep back. I thought the vault looked good.Gael Mackie lunged back on her landing. Hadpretty good amplitude.
BARS BARSStephanie McGregor 9.825 Hailee Hansen 9.725Brittany Harris 9.800 Jacquelyn Johnson 9.850Jen Kesler 9.800 Nansy Damianova 9.875Makayla Stambaugh 9.875 Cortni Beers 9.850Leslie Mak 9.275 Stephanie McAllister 9.850Olivia Vivian 9.875 Gael Mackie 9.900UB: 49.175; Running: 98.275 UB: 49.325; Running: 49.325Utah bar notes:Hailee Hansen's routine was very nice exceptshe didn't get two handstands straight. That was one of Jacq Johnson's best routines,in my opinion, because she moved quickly frombar to bar, while still hitting handstands.Nansy Damianova's routine was clean, fast, big. That blind move from the high to lowbar was huge and she nailed her dismount.Cortni Beers, again, clean, quick, nicebig moves, stuck dismount.Stephanie McAllister did her usual clean, fun routine and stuck the landing.Gael Mackie made it five for five on greatfinishes to cap a sweet routine. She is on fire ...four of her last five bar routines have gone9.90 or better
BEAM BEAMMelanie Jones 9.850 Fumina Kobayshi 9.550Kelsi Blalock 9.750 Corrie Lothrop 9.800Brittany Harris 9.800 Stephanie McAllister 9.850Jen Kesler 9.700 Cortni Beers 9.750Olivia Vivian 9.875 Mary Beth Lofgren 9.875Leslie Mak 9.925 Gael Mackie 9.725BB: 49.200; Running: 147.475 BB: 49.000; Running: 196.325Utah beam notes:OSU's team is blocking my view of the beam,so I'm not sure if Fumina Kobayashi had just a bigbreak (which) I saw, or if she touched her handto the side of the beam.Corrie Lothrop did a really nice job consideringshe hasn't trained much at all for several weeksnow. A couple of little things, but mostly solid.Stephanie McAllister was cool and calm througha chorus of boos from the OSU crowd who didn't likeBrittany Harris' floor score.Cortni Beers had one really gritty balance checkthat got the crowd making noise at her. Shenever leaned to the side, just took a lot oftime keeping her poise, so I was surprised a littleat the big deduction.Mary Beth Lofgren's routine was a flat out beauty. She probably had a couple of little half tenthdeductions that I couldn't see.Gael Mackie made a courageous save with abalance check. It was her best dismount I've seen.
FLOOR FLOORKelsi Blalock 9.800 Mary Beth Lofgren 9.825Olivia Vivian 9.800 Jacquelyn Johnson 9.775Leslie Mak 9.825 Lia Del Priore 9.750Melanie Jones 9.850 Nansy Damianova 9.875Makalya Stambaugh 9.850 Stephanie McAllister 9.600Britney Ranzy 9.750 Gael Mackie 9.775FX: 49.125; Running: 196.600 FX: 49.000; Running: 147.325Utah floor notes:Mary Beth Lofgren had a really pretty, cleanroutine. Tumbling, dance, leaps ... all lookedgood to me.Jacq showed pretty good pop with that routineand it was really clean until the last tumblingpass when she almost crossed up her feet. Shedidn't stumble or anything, but I think that costher.I like Lia Del Priore's tumbling because she isso powerful. I'm never quite sure where allher deductions are. She did step a little outof her first tumbling pass.Nansy Damianova is so incredibly elegant. Her routine was gorgeous. I thought forsure she would get a 9.90, but she came close.Stephanie McAllister's routine lookedfine other than a tiny step on onepass, but both judges started her a 9.80 value.I imagine we will inquire.Gael Mackie's routine went well other thana sort of sloppy landing on one of her earlytumbling passes. She recovered well to finish strong.
