ASU UTAHVAULT VAULTNatelle Gentile 9.725 Corrie Lothrop 9.775Callie Price 9.850 Stephanie McAllister 9.775Natasha Sundby 9.775 Tory Wilson 9.875Samantha Seaman 9.775 Georgia Dabritz 9.900Beate Jones 9.875 Kailah Delaney 9.875Kelly Reilly scratch Kyndal Robarts 9.875VT: 49.000; Running: 49.000 VT: 49.300; Running: 98.300Utah vault notes:Corrie Lothrop, competing first for the first time, had a hop on her landing and a 9.775 as a result.Stephanie McAllister had a nice big vault with ahop.Tory Wilson nailed her vault. Lots of air, straight body, stuck landing. Nice vault.Georgia Dabritz' vault was a beauty. Just the tiniestof hops at the end. Both Kailah Delaney and Kyndal Robarts had hugeamplitude and great form until, you guessed it, a stepon the landing. I'm really sorry about the errant scores, but I might as well be doing the scoring on my ownfor as often as I see one posted.
BARS BARSAmelia Rew 8.950 Kassandra Lopez 9.750Beate Jones 9.600 Hailee Hansen 9.750Kahoku Palafox 9.750 Cortni Beers 9.800Brianna Gades 9.800 Georgia Dabritz 9.500Stephanie Hangartner 9.750 Corrie Lothrop 9.825Samantha Seaman DNF Stephanie McAllister 9.875UB: 47.850; Running: 96.850 UB: 49.000; Running: 49.000Utah bar notes:From my vantage point way up on press row, KassandraLopez' routine was solid as ever.Hailee Hansen had to go to plan B, but did it reallysmoothly.Cortni Beers was most likely counted downfor split legs on one move. Otherwise, solidroutine by Cort.Georgia Dabritz ran through plans A-D, improvisingall over the place. To her credit, she put together aroutine for long enough that she got back on track.Corrie Lothrop's routine went without a hitch. It tookforever for ASU to post a score (they don't seem tobe using the scoring trees at all as far as I cantell and the electronic boards are way behind).Stephanie McAllister stood around for 5 minutes or sowhile who knows what was going on. Maybe something to dowith Corrie's score. In any case, once Steph got the greenflag she ripped through a great routine.
BEAM BEAMBeate Jones 9.800 Kassandra Lopez 9.350Brianna Gades 9.850 Stephanie McAllister 9.800Natelle Gentile 9.775 Mary Beth Lofgren 9.875Kahoku Palafox 9.525 Corrie Lothrop 9.900Madison Snowden 9.750 Cortni Beers 9.850Amelia Rew 8.600 Kyndal Robarts 9.875BB: 48.700; Running: 145.550 BB: 49.300; Running: 196.150Utah beam notes:Steady Kassandra Lopez fell on her first series.Stephanie McAllister toughed it up, performing a reallynice routine next up.In my opinion that was Mary Beth Lofgren's bestbeam routine of the year. She looked like the rock solidrock star she was as a freshman beamer!Corrie Lothrop went for it. Finished a good routine withher new double back dismount and nailed it. Gutsy call.OK, I thought Cortni Beers' routine was awesome. Rocksolid, smooth, no hitches.Have I said recently how glad I am Kyndal Robarts cameback this year? She had ice in her veins in that routine. It was all but flawless.
FLOOR FLOORAmanda Davies 9.775 Becky Tutka 9.800Samantha Seaman 9.800 Kyndal Robarts 9.850Natasha Sundby 9.650 Kailah Delaney 9.700Morgan Steigerwalt 9.825 Georgia Dabritz 9.250Beate Jones 9.300 Corrie Lothrop 9.900Brianna Gades 9.350 Stephanie McAllister 9.300FX: 48.450; Running: 194.000 FX: 48.550; Running: 146.850Utah floor notes:I love Becky Tutka's routine because it is so jammedwith difficulty. The only thing I saw wrong is she'sthe first gymnast up.Ditto for Kyndal Robarts at No. 2. That is one of thecleanest, biggest floor routine I've seen Kyns do. I thoughtfor sure she'd get a 9.90 or better. In the super secret scoring system at ASU, ittook awhile, but I finally learned Kailah Delaneygot a 9.70 in her first floor routine to count. Shestumbled on her second pass. Too bad, because therest of the routine was great.Georgia Dabritz fell on her first pass and landedher last pass awkwardly. Finally, the people manning the scoring trees postedscores! Usually, the judge gives the person a score andnothing happens. This was a good time to post becauseCorrie Lothrop's routine was well worth the 9.90it received.Stephanie McAllister was sailing along until herfinal pass. She didn't get enough air and had tofall to her hands on the second part of it.
