WALNUT CREEK, Calif.
Senior gymnast Kyndal Robarts, whose victories on the vault and balance beam helped Utah beat No. 12 Stanford 196.300-196.100 on Feb. 24, was awarded the Pac-12 Special Performance of the Week.
Robarts scored a career-high 9.975 on the vault, receiving a 10.0 from one judge. As Utah's final competitor on the balance beam, her 9.875 winning score ensured that the Utes did not have to count a fall earlier in the lineup. She also competed on floor, scoring a 9.80.
Robarts becomes the third Ute gymnast to win a Pac-12 weekly award this season. Cortni Beers won the Pac-22 Special Performance of the Week on Jan. 30 and Corrie Lothrop was named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week on Feb. 7.
