No. 7 ranked Utah (7-1) hosts No. 6 Nebraska (10-2) in its final regular season home meet on Friday, Mar. 9. The meet starts at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center and Utah's three seniors will be honored in a pre-meet ceremony. Fans will receive a free light-up gift at the door. Utah is leading the nation in gymnastics attendance, averaging 14,338 fans. The Utes could break their all-time NCAA season attendance record of 14,213 (set in 2010) with another big crowd this Friday ... Ute seniors Cortni Beers, Stephanie McAllister and Kyndal Robarts are competing in their final regular season home meet. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to join in the pre-meet ceremony honoring the senior trio ... The meet promo is Dance and Cheer night and coupons can be found on UtahUtes.com ... After a road meet at Florida on Mar. 16, the Utes will host two postseason meets: the inaugural Pac-12 Championships on Mar. 24 and the NCAA Regional Championship on Apr. 7. STAR SENIORS
Utah's sterling senior class, making its final regular season Huntsman Center appearance this Friday, accounts for almost 40-percent (72-192) of Utah's total routines and nearly half (18-39) of the team's individual victories this season. Cortni Beers, Stephanie McAllister and Kyndal Robarts have a total of just three falls this season (69-72). Two seniors are returning MVPs: Robarts in 2010 and McAllister in 2011. McAllister is a three-time All-American, while Robarts has won two All-America awards.UTES IN THE RANKINGS
Utah is ranked No. 7 this week with a 196.555 regional qualifying score (RQS). Utah's best event ranking is on beam where the Utes are ranked No. 6 (49.130 RQS). They are ranked seventh on vault (49.300), ninth on floor (49.160) and 14th on bars (48.985). Utah's best individual rankings are from Kailah Delaney, tied for No. 10 on vault (9.905), and Corrie Lothrop, No. 11 in the all-around (39.325). See page 3 for complete national rankings.LAST WEEK
Stephanie McAllister won the all-around and two events to lead Utah past No. 9 Oregon State 196.575-195.600. Utah won every individual title with McAllister capturing floor (9.95) and tying with Georgia Dabritz on bars (9.85), Cortni Beers winning beam (9.9) and Kyndal Robarts winning vault (9.975). Utah began the meet with its best vault score of the season (49.425) and finished strong on floor (49.425), but had problems on bars and beam. A crowd of 13,571 was on hand for Utah's sixth-straight win.SERIES SHORTS
