Wilson's Vault #6 on Pac-12 Plays of the Week
Utah junior gymnast Tory Wilson has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week for the second week in a row after leading unbeaten Utah to victory over No. 13 Arizona last Friday.
Wilson scored a season-high 39.600 to win her fourth all-around of the season in Utah's 197.825-194.425 win over the Wildcats. She also tied her season high on vault with a 9.975 to win that event and tied for second on floor with a career-best 9.95. Wilson, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation on vault and No. 11 in the all-around, was in the top three on all four events against Arizona. Utah's 197.825 was a season high and the third-best score in the nation this year.
It is the second Pac-12 award of the season for Wilson and the sixth of her career. She has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week twice (both in 2014) and Specialist of the Week four times (all in 2013).
