BOISE, Idaho - The No. 55 University of Utah women's tennis teams (4-1) grabs their fourth-consecutive victory with a 5-2 win over Boise State (4-2) at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. Utah senior, No. 111 Sarah Pham records a win over Vosburgh out of the second spot to remain undefeated in singles play.
"This was a hard-fought road win against a much improved Boise State Team," said Utah head coach Mat Iandolo. "We are happy to get the win in such a tough venue."
Bekerova grabbed a win over Vo out of No. 1 singles, while tallying another victory with doubles partner Paige Miles over Vo and Basil.
Sarah Richter and Luisa da Rosa teamed up for a win in No. 2 doubles over Vosburgh and LaLone to secure the doubles point for the Utes.
Richter and Miles each won their respective singles matches: Richter taking the No. 4 game from Toseva, and Miles topped Basil out of No. 5.
The Utes return to the Eccles Tennis Center Feb. 19 to face the BYU Cougars in the Deseret Dual. The first serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
