SALT LAKE CITY--
Five Utah gymnasts were awarded a total of nine regular-season All-America honors today, as announced by the National Association of College Gymnastics Coaches for Women (NACGCW). It marks the second year of the regular season All-America team, which supplements the traditional All-America honors awarded at the national championships.
Georgia Dabritz earned first-team regular season All-America honors on bars and floor, while Tory Wilson and Kailah Delaney were first-team selections on vault. Picking up second-team honors were Dabritz (vault), Wilson (all-around), Nansy Damianova (bars and floor) and Becky Tutka (floor).
Dabritz's career All-America tally now stands at eight (five regular season, three NCAA Championship awards). Wilson now has five career All-America honors (three regular season, two NCAA), Damianova has four (two regular season, two NCAA), Tutka three (two regular season, one NCAA) and Delaney two (one regular season, one NCAA).
