THIS WEEK IN UTAH GYMNASTICS
The No. 4 Utah gymnastics team (1-0, 0-0 Pac-12) hosts Boise State (0-0), Southern Utah (0-1) and UC Davis (4-1) on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Tickets may be purchased at UtahUtes.com, the Huntsman Center box office and by calling 801-581-UTIX. Season tickets are still available in the lower bowl and start at $40. Live scores and video of the meet can be found at UtahUtes.com. There is no TV.
FAN FUN
A pre-meet ceremony will honor the Utes for their 2014 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championship. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a replica Pac-12 Championship trophy ... Friday's meet is Faculty/Staff Appreciation night. University of Utah faculty and staff will receive free admission for up to six people by showing their U-card at the gate ... The Kid Zone opens at 5:30 p.m. and features a balloon artist, face painting, poster making station and more.
QUICK STICKS
The season ticket count was at a school-record 7,012 as of Monday morning (old mark was 7,000 set last year) ... Utah opened its season last week with a 196.900-193.350 win over BYU. It was Utah's best season-opening score since 2005 ...
Tory Wilson was named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week after winning three titles in leading Utah to victory over BYU. Wilson won the all-around (39.45) and floor (9.90), and tied for first on vault (9.925). It marks the third career Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week award for Wilson ... Wilson led a Ute sweep of individual titles at BYU.
Georgia Dabritz tied Wilson for first on vault (9.925) and also won bars (9.90), while
Baely Rowe won beam (9.90).

The Utes moved up two places to No. 4 in the new rankings, which are based on season average until Feb. 16. Utah's best individual ranking is
