Small hop on landing.Tiffani Lewis makes her Ute debut a good one. Nice flight. Hop and leanon landing.Kari Lee had great distance and was clean until a littlestep on the landing.Tory Wilson's vault looked flat out perfect. She got huge air,her body was perfectly straight and she stuck the landing.Kailah Delaney looked like Tory in the air, but had a step onher landing.Georgia Dabritz just nailed that vault. I forget what it's called, but it's the one where she lands facing forward and she stuck itcold. That is really hard to do on that vault. Like Tory's, I couldn'tsee an obvious deduction.
BARS BARSEmily Vidmar 9.750 Breanna Hughes 9.750Brielle Wilchuck 9.700 Tory Wilson 9.825Jill Van Mierlo 9.125 Baely Rowe 9.800KayCee Gassaway 9.775 Kassandra Lopez 9.875Makenzie Johnson 9.100 Corrie Lothrop 9.150Eliane Kulczyk 9.875 Georgia Dabritz 9.900UB: 48.200; Running: 96.900 UB: 49.175; Running: 49.175Utah bar notes:Breanna Hughes had a very nice and clean routine. Good handstandsand releases.Tory Wilson was a little sloppy in the middle, but was sky highon her release moves and especially her dismount, which she nailed.Really nice debut bar routine for Baely Rowe. Had a step back outof her landing.Welcome back Kassandra Lopez. That routine was a beauty. Hardto find a deduction in it.Corrie Lothrop fell early in the routine.Georgia Dabritz looked in late season form. I thought the routinewas perfect, but a 9.90 is a nice start to the season!
BEAM BEAMEmily Vidmar 9.650 Tory Wilson 9.800Taylor Harward 9.225 Kailah Delaney 9.800Jordan Schult 8.900 Baely Rowe 9.900Ashley Robinson 9.150 Kari Lee 9.850Jill Van Mierlo 9.750 Maddy Stover 9.775Makenzie Johnson 9.750 Corrie Lothrop 9.850BB: 47.525; Running: 144.425 BB: 49.200; Running: 196.900Utah beam notes:Who knows what Tory would have scored late in the lineup withwith that amazing routine. She was vintage Tory with giantleaps and stuck layouts.Kailah Delaney was flat out beautiful on the beam. She is so longand just walked through that routine.OK, Baely Rowe's beam routine was SO cool. She did a million tricksin it, nailed them all, did some fun crowd pleasing stuff. Loved it!Kari Lee's routine was so good that even that side sumi that I normallyjust dread to watch looked easy.Maddy Stover was a trooper on that routine after sitting the wholenight. She had a lean and one pause. Other than that, it was a goodfirst routine.Corrie Lothrop's new beam routine was very impressive. Well deservedanchor position.
FLOOR FLOORJordan Schult 9.750 Breanna Hughes 9.750Jill Van Mierlo 9.800 Baely Rowe 9.875Emily Vidmar 9.825 Kari Lee 9.775KayCee Gassaway 9.775 Tory Wilson 9.900Eliane Kulczyk 9.725 Corrie Lothrop 9.800Makenzie Johnson 9.775 Georgia Dabritz 9.875FX: 48.925; Running: 193.350 FX: 49.225; Running: 147.700Utah floor notes:Breanna Hughes had a really nice floor debut. She stumbled a bitout of her last tumbling pass.Baely Rowe can tumble and that's a fun floor routine. Only thingwrong with that nice first pass was her bow flew out of her hair. What a freshman! Kari Lee opened with a triple twist, finished witha sky high double back and had some really nice dance in between.Couldn't quite stick the last landing.Tory Wilson's routine was stunning. She opened with a beautiful doublelayout, had great, high leaps throughout the routine, finished with a bigdouble back. Wow!Colo makes her first floor routine in two years a good one. Openedwith a nice full in. Didn't quite stick the landing on her final pass, but that was a good routine. By the way, Utah's floor music this yearis awesome.Georgia Dabritz opened and closed her routine with big time tumblingand big sticks. I thought her second pass looked weird and I needto get clarification from the coaches. The rest of the routine waspure Dabritz.
