SALT LAKE CITY -
Five Utes were named 2015 gymnastics regular season All-Americans today by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastic Coaches/Women (NACGC/W).
Senior Georgia Dabritz won first-team All-America honors on vault and bars and second-team mention on floor. Senior Tory Wilson was named to the first team on vault and made the second team in the all-around. Also making the second team were senior Corrie Lothrop (bars), junior Kailah Delaney (vault) and freshman Kari Lee (beam).
Dabritz now has 13 career All-America awards, including those earned at past NCAA Championships, and is tied for fourth in school history for total All-America awards with Aimee Trepanier (13 at the NCAA Championships from 1992-95). Eight of Dabritz's awards are as a regular season All-American--a designation that began in 2013 and is based on an individual's final regional qualifying score (RQS).
Wilson (7), Lothrop (6) and Delaney (3) also have multiple career All-America certificates.
The Utes compete at the NCAA Berkeley Regional on April 4. Should they advance to the NCAA Championships, all but Wilson (out with a season-ending injury) will have the opportunity to add to their All-America portfolios.
