The Utah gymnastics team has begun preparations for its record-setting 40th-consecutive trip to the national championships, scheduled for April 17-19 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Utah, which is also the only program to qualify for all 34 NCAA Championships, finished second at the NCAA Berkeley Regional on April 4 to earn a trip to the 2015 Championships.
The Utes will open NCAA Championships' competition on Friday, Apr. 17 in semifinal 1, which starts at 1 p.m. CDT (noon MDT) in the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena and will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
Joining Utah in the afternoon semifinal are Florida, UCLA, Georgia, Michigan and Stanford. Competing in the evening semifinal at 7:00 CDT are Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Nebraska and Oregon State. The all-around champion will also be determined on April 17.
The top three team finishers from each semifinal on April 17 will qualify into the Super Six team finals on Saturday, Apr. 18 at 6 p.m. CDT (5 p.m. MDT). The Super Six will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
The meet concludes on Sunday, Apr. 19 with the individual event championships starting at 2 p.m. CDT (1 p.m. MDT) and airing on ESPN3. The top four individuals (including ties) from each of Friday's semifinals will earn a berth into Sunday's competition.
A replay of the championships will air tape delayed on ESPNU on April 29 at 5 p.m. MT (Super Six) and 7 p.m. MT (individual event championships).
