Utah gymnasts Breanna Hughes and Sabrina Schwab were named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week and Freshman of the Week, respectively, after leading Utah to a season-high 197.675 score in a win over No. 9 Georgia (197.125) last Saturday.
It marks the third time this season that Hughes has been honored by the Pac-12. She is also a two-time Pac-12 Specialist of the Week. Schwab receives her fourth Freshman-of-the-Week honor.
Hughes set or tied career highs in winning the all-around (39.650) and floor (10.0) against Georgia, and finished second on bars (9.925) and third on vault (9.875). Her perfect score on floor came as the final competitor of the night in her final regular-season meet in the Huntsman Center.
Schwab scored a 9.925 on both bars and floor, tying her career high on bars.
