SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team continues in Pac-12 play this weekend, hitting the road for a three-game series at 12th-ranked Stanford.
The series begins on Friday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. PT and continues on Saturday, March 25, at 4:00 p.m. PT with game three of the series on Sunday, March 26, at 2:00 p.m. PT. All three games will be aired on the Pac-12 Networks with Roxy Bernstein and J.T. Snow calling the action.
Utah is fourth in the Pac-12 in batting average (.282). The Utes are third in the conference in doubles (36), runs scored (108) and RBI (96).
Utah is fifth in the league in ERA (3.53). The Utes are tied for fourth in fewest runs allowed (61). The Utes lead the league with seven pickoffs and five home runs is tied for second-fewest in the conference.
Dallas Carroll leads the league in hits per game (1.71). He is third in the conference in batting average (.411) and is the third-toughest player in the league to strike out, averaging one strikeout per every 18.3 at-bats. On the mound, Jayson Rose is 10th in the league in strikeouts (26).
