Utah Vault Notes: Missy Reinstadtler looked good in the air but lunged
out of her landiing. Kari Lee's vault had very few deductions. Perhaps a little slide
out of the landing although I couldn't see it. Tiffani Lewis got great amplltude. A hop on her landing
was her deduction. Kim Tessen big air before a hop forward on her landing. MaKenna Merrell-Giles rocked that vault and had a very tiny
hop on her landing.
It just wasn't in the stars for MyKayla Skinner to get a 10.0 today,
but that vault was killer. She absolutely nailed it. Big air, great form,
beautiful vault!
Utah Bar Notes: Great leadoff routine by Tiffani Lewis. A little short
on one handstand. All others good and rock solid double layout dismount.
I apologize but internet is brutally slow, they aren't posting scores and the
person by the judge's table isn't turning the score tree.
MaKenna Merrell had solid handstands, a good release move and stuck
her dismount. Nice routine.
Missy Reinstadlter had a huge release, beautiful handstands and
swung the bars well, but had a big hop forward on her dismount. Kari Lee was a little short on her handstands, but otherwise a clean routine.
Stuck her dismount. Kim Tessen was really good on the bars but had a step back on the dismount. MyKayla Skinner's routine was FLAWLESS. Sensational!
Utah Beam Notes: Shannon McNatt looked great, but she must have missed
a connection because her start value was a 9.90 and she ended up with a 9.60. MaKenna Merrell-Giles routine was a beauty. Great leaps, beautiful flight series,
nailed the dismount. One judge gave iet a 9.90 and the other a 9.55 so they
are conferencing. I have no idea what they think MaKenna missed on that routine.
Also, don't trust the scores I'm posting right now because there is virtually no way
to get an accurate score. Maddy Stover nailed every single element in that routine. We'll see what happens
if a score comes up. The one judge just gave her a 9.65 too. Jen and I have no
clue what is going on. Missy Reinstadtler had a great routine with no bobbles on the beam. She had
a step on the dismount. This time the judges flip-flopped in giving a 9.80 and 9.65.
I think MyKayla Skinner might have initially left something out. She regrouped and
got the value back in, but I think her long pause hurt her. Pretty double back
dismount with smallest of steps. Kari Lee had one balance check that cost her a bigger score. Rest of routine
was really nice.

Utah Floor Notes: Tiffani Lewis had a great routine going until the very end when
she bounced out of her double back.
Beautiful routine by Macey Roberts. She hit every leap, every tumblng pass and
finished with a flourish. Missy Reinstadtler had a step out of her first double tuck, but hit everything else,
plus beautiful dance. Nailed her pike double back to finish. MaKenna Merrell-Giles was just sensational. Executed every leap, dance element
and tumbling pass beautifully. Sydney Soloski stepped back out of her double layout to start her routine,
then got stronger as it went along.
Take it from me ... MaKayla Skinner's floor routine was just as one of the two judges
saw it. PERFECT. A 9.975 is still a great score, but that routine was flawless.
