Utes Take on BYU in Second Round of NCAA Tournament

PROVO – Utah volleyball quickly turns its attention to BYU tonight after sweeping the Denver Pioneers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, November 30.

This will be the 101^st meeting between BYU and Utah, but the first meeting ever in the NCAA Tournament.

Last Time Out: Utah earned a sweep over the Denver Pioneers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Setter Bailey Choy spread the offense around as the team hit .310 as a whole and three players had double-figure kills.

Leading 2-0 in the match, Utah had a lead in the third until a big run by Denver gave them several set points to push it to a fourth. The Utes buckled down and came through to take the match in straight sets.
