Regional Gymnastics Practices Open to Public

Admission is free to Friday’s team workouts.
SALT LAKE CITY—On Friday, Apr. 6, gymnastics fans can get a sneak preview of the teams Utah will face in the NCAA Salt Lake City Gymnastics Regional on Apr. 7. While the Utes will forego training in the Huntsman Center on Friday, California, Auburn, BYU, Stanford, Southern Utah plan to practice at the times listed below.

Admission is free to Friday's practice sessions as is parking in lots adjoining the Huntsman Center.

Friday, Apr. 6 Practice Sessions:
1:15-3:00 p.m. Southern Utah, Stanford, Auburn
4:00-5:45 p.m. BYU, California

A few tickets remain to the regional meet and can be purchased at UtahTickets.com or by calling 801-581-UTIX (8849). Only the lower bowl (seating capacity 8,403) will be open for the regional competition. People who can't attend can watch a free live video stream or listen to ESPN 700 radio.

The Salt Lake City Regional is one of six regional sites around the country. The top two teams from each region will qualify into the NCAA Championships in St. Louis on Apr. 20-21.
