ON DECK
Utah closes the 2018 season with a three-game series against Oregon State at Dumke Family Softball Stadium.

UTAH NOTES
- Utah is currently No. 50 in the latest RPI and its strength of schedule is ranked sixth in the country

- The Utes have played seven of the top 10 teams from the latest NFCA poll (17 games total).

- Katie Donovan is the active Pac-12 leader in career saves, starts, innings and appearances and ranks second in strikeouts wins

- Donovan is ninth in the Pac-12 with 133 strikeouts and Viramontes is 22nd in the nation with four saves to her credit

- After not having a pitcher toss 10 strikeouts in a game over the last six seasons, both Katie Donovan and Miranda Viramontes did it at the Maryland Invitational

- Heather Bowen is pacing the team with a .326 batting average and is 16th in the nation with 17 doubles. As a team, Utah sits 21st in the nation in doubles per game (1.50).

- Bowen also sits seventh in the Pac-12 with 40 runs batted in ninth in slugging percentage (.632)

- Julia Noskin leads the team in batting during Pac-12 play (.304) and is also hitting .351 over the last our weekend, reaching base safely in 11 of 13 contests

- Alyssa Barrera was named to the USA Softball Player of the Year "Watch List" earlier this season, one of nine sophomores on the 50-person list

- At the Mary Nutter Classic this season, head coach Amy Hogue won her 300th game at Utah and 500th game of her career.

DONOVAN CLIMBING CHARTS
Katie Donovan now has 64 wins for her career, matching Michele Townsend for fourth place in Utah history. She needs five more W's to catch Janet Womack in the record book.

The senior also needs 38 more strikeouts to catch Kristen Arbogast for second place in Utah history. Donovan also recently moved past Ali Andrus for second place all-time in total appearances by a Ute hurler.

UTAH VS. OREGON STATE HISTORY
Last season, OSU beat the Utes in a series for the first time since 2013. However, Utah has won five of the last six contests between these two teams at Dumke Family Softball Stadium, including a sweep in 2016.

In the three games last year, BreOnna Castaneda paced the Utes by hitting .430 and scoring twice. Katie Donovan earned the one win while Miranda Viramontes ran into tough luck, pitching 6 2/3 innings and not allowing an earned run but suffering a loss

Utah's one and only win against UO was here at The Jane in the 2016 season. Katie Donovan pitched a complete game and Bridget Castro homered in the sixth inning to provide the deciding run.

LAST WEEKEND AT OREGON
Utah was swept for the sixth time in seven Pac-12 series this season, losing three straight to No. 2 Oregon in Eugene

Ally Dickman had a big weekend against the Ducks, hitting .500 with three of her hits coming in the finale. Heather Bowen also hit .400 for the weekend against the Pac-12 leaders.

Abby Robertson had her first extra-base hit of the Pac-12 season with a two-run double but Utah managed just three runs all weekend against an excellent pair of Duck pitchers.
