SAN FRANCISCO—Utah's
MyKayla Skinner has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week after leading No. 4 Utah to a 197.150-195.450 win over No. 21 Oregon State in Corvallis last Saturday. It is the second time this season Skinner has won the award and the 14th time in her career—adding to the Pac-12 career record she already owns.
Â
Skinner won two events and the all-around in helping the Utes hand OSU its first home loss since 2017. The nation's top-ranked vaulter won the event with her second 9.975 in as many weeks and she won bars with a 9.925. She remained unbeaten this season on both events, as well as the all-around, and her 39.625 all-around score was the best in the Pac-12 last week (including two dual meets yesterday).
Â
Skinner's three individual wins gave her 11 on the season and 88 in her career, which moved her into a tie for fourth place in program history.
