This Week in Utah Gymnastics
The No. 4 ranked Utah gymnasts (4-0, 2-0 Pac-12) compete at home for just the second time this season, hosting No. 23 Arizona (3-3, 1-1 Pac-12) in Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night on Friday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. MT. Tickets are available at UtahTickets.com and 801-581-UTIX. The meet will be streamed live on UtahUtes.com and broadcast on ESPN 700 radio.

In the Rankings
Utah is No. 4 for the third straight week in the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) rankings, which are based on total season average. The Utes are No. 2 in the nation on vault—where they have four gymnasts ranked in the top 25—No. 3 on floor, No. 5 on beam and No. 6 on bars.
MyKayla Skinner is No. 2 in the all-around and on vault, No. 4 (tie) on bars and No. 8 (tie) on floor).
MaKenna Merrell-Giles is No. 8 (tie) on vault and No. 10 (tie) on floor.
Macey Roberts is tied for No. 16 on vault,
Kari Lee is tied for No. 21 on vault and
Cristal Isa and

Parking and Clear Bags
Due to construction on campus, there have been some significant changes to the 2019 gymnastics parking. There are still many parking options (see https://utahutes.com/documents/2019/1/26/gympark19_22jan19.pdf) and fans can ride TRAX and UTA free to the meet. A clear bag policy has also been implemented for meet nights at the Huntsman Center. Fans may bring in one clear bag no larger than 12 x 6 inches by or a one-gallon plastic storage bag. Fans are limited to one clear bag per person, along with a small clutch purse for privacy.

Two-time NCAA champion, two-time NCAA all-around runner-up and 18-time All-American
MyKayla Skinner is one of the winningest gymnasts in Utah and Pac-12 history. Skinner holds the Utah record for all-around wins in a season (12 in 2017) and is second in career all-around wins (25, 2017-present). Her 91 total career wins ranks fourth in program history. Skinner won NCAA titles on floor in 2017 and vault in 2018. The Pac-12 all-around champion as a freshman and sophomore, Skinner owns Pac-12 records for most Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week awards in a season (7) and a career (14), as well as most Pac-12 Freshman of the Week awards (6).
