MyKayla Skinner is Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week

SAN FRANCISCO—For the second straight week and third time this season, Utah's MyKayla Skinner has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week. Skinner led No. 4 Utah to a season-high score in a 197.375-195.825 win at No. 19 Arizona State last Saturday, winning the all-around, bars and beam and placing second on vault. Skinner's conference record for career Gymnast of the Week awards now stands at 15.

The nation's second-ranked all-arounder, she is also ranked No. 2 on the vault, and is tied for No. 4 on bars and No. 8 on floor. Skinner is the highest ranked all-arounder in the Pac-12 and her 39.600 vs. ASU was the best all-around score in the Pac-12 last week.

The Gilbert, Ariz., native has 14 individual titles through four meets this season in leading Utah to a 4-0 record and her 91 career wins is ranked second in school history.

Her other Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week awards this season were on Jan. 8 and Jan. 23.

Skinner and the Utes host No. 23 Arizona on Friday at 7 p.m. after three weeks on the road.
