THE GAME
The No. 12/12 University of Utah football program will take on the California Golden Bears for the first time since the 2016 season on Saturday, Oct. 26 for Utah's DARK MODE game. The game is set for an 8 p.m. MT kick in Rice-Eccles Stadium and will air on FS1. Search #CALvsUTAH on social media for conversation.
HOME SWEET HOME
Utah is currently 95-35 (.730) all-time in Rice-Eccles Stadium (1998-present). Utah is 67-24 during the Kyle Whittingham era in Salt Lake City, including two undefeated home seasons in 2008 (6-0) and 2009 (6-0). Utah is 4-0 at home this season and has won eight consecutive home games and 10 of their last 11 at RES. It is the longest home winning streak since winning 21 in a row (second-longest in school history) from 9/15/07 to 10/23/10.

Utah is 37-40 against Pac-12 teams as a conference member and 113-158-6 all-time against Pac-12 schools.

•   With a win, the Utes will beat California for the first time since 2015 (W, 30-24 at home). Â

QUICK HITS
•   Utah is ranked 12th in this week's AP poll, up one spot from last week, and 12th in the Coaches poll after Saturday's top 20 win over No. 17 Arizona State (21-3).
•   Utah's win against No. 17 Arizona State was the first over a ranked opponent since last season at No. 14 Stanford (40-21, Oct. 6), and its first home win over a ranked opponent since Oct. 10, 2015 when the fifth-ranked Utes defeated No. 23 California, 30-24.
•   Utah has started the season with a record of 6-1 or better for the fourth time in the past six seasons and the seventh time total in the Kyle Whittingham head coaching era. The Utes started 7-0 in 2008 and 2010, and 6-1 in 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016 and now in 2019.
•   Utah's four pass completions allowed against Arizona State is the fewest since allowing four at Oregon in 2009. The 25 passing yards allowed in the game was also the fewest by any Pac-12 team in a conference game since the Utes joined the league in 2011. In addition, the 136 total yards allowed was the fewest by Utah in a conference game since joining the Pac-12 nine seasons ago.
•   The Utes have held three opponents this season to fewer than 10 points (0 by Idaho State, 7 by Oregon State, 3 by Arizona State), the most in a season by Utah since holding three opponents to single-digits in 2010. Arizona State's three points and Oregon State's seven is the first time Utah has held consecutive Pac-12 opponents to single digits.
•   The 23 combined points in the past three games (13 by WSU, 7 by OSU, 3 by ASU) are the fewest allowed by the Utes in a three-game span since 2007 (13; 3, 0 and 10 by Colorado State, Wyoming and New Mexico, respectively), and the Utes' opponents have converted just 18.4 percent of third-down opportunities in the three games (7 for 38).
•   Utah has allowed just one touchdown and 10 total points in the past 10 quarters of play.
•   The Utes have sold out 61-straight games in Rice-Eccles Stadium since the 2010 season opener, including 57 standing room only crowds. The school record for season attendance average is 46,533 (2015) and Utah has averaged more than 46,000 fans per game in four of the past five seasons.
