FIRST SERVE
No. 17 Utah will host Arizona State and Arizona on Friday and Sunday. The Utes are coming off of a stretch that they played four ranked teams in a row.
Â
It's been a tough stretch for the Utes as they've played four five-set matches in their last five matches. Earlier in the year when they played Arizona State and Arizona, they swept them on the road.
Â
Since Utah was in Tempe and Tucson, Arizona State has won three straight and sits at 5-5 in the Pac-12. Arizona sits at 2-8 in the Pac-12, but has a 12-10 record overall. They are coming off a win against Oregon.
Â
Both matches will be on the Pac-12 Network this weekend.

LIFE IN THE PAC-12
No. 17 Utah is coming off a stretch where they have faced four straight ranked teams with two of those teams ranked in the top-10 in the middle of Pac-12 play.
Â
The Utes went 1-3 during that stretch, but lost the three matches all in five sets with two of those coming in extra points. Stanford beat them 17-15 in the fifth and Washington State just edged out Utah 16-14 in the fifth set.
Â
The Pac-12 is the only conference in the country with eight teams with a top 42 RPI as all 12 teams have RPI in the top 95. Stanford (#4), Washington (#6), UCLA (#15), California (#23) and Utah (#26) are all in the top 26.
