This Week in Utah Gymnastics
The No. 4 ranked Utah gymnasts (8-1, 4-0 Pac-12) compete at Stanford (5-7, 0-4 Pac-12) on Monday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT in Maples Pavilion. On Saturday, Feb. 23, the Utes will host defending NCAA champion UCLA at 1:30 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Both meets will be aired live on the Pac-12 Networks. In addition, Utah commentary and live scores for Monday's meet at Stanford will be available on UtahUtes.com.

Red Alert
Saturday's home meet against UCLA is a Red Out and fans are encouraged to wear red attire and red wigs to the meet. The first 500 students will receive free red wigs courtesy of America First Credit Union. Wigs may be purchased online (http://tinyurl.com/yyzvhr3w) or at Red Zone locations on campus, as well as in the Sandy store and at URedZone.com. All proceeds from the sale of the wigs will go toward the Dumke Gymnastics Center expansion fund.

The Streak
The Utes have tied the school record for consecutive 197 scores at seven (also accomplished in 2018). Prior to 2019, a Utah team had never opened a season with back-to-back 197 scores and had started off with a 197 just three times (2004, 2005, 2018).

MyKayla Skinner returned to the floor and all-around lineup at last week's Gymquarters Invitational, winning floor and finishing second all-around. Due to the limited time between meets, Skinner did not compete on floor in Monday's meet at Stanford to rest her sore ankle … Freshman

Lauren Wong warmed up on vault at the Gymquarters Invitational, although neither competed on the event. Dula is a starter on bars, which is the event where Wong competed once as a freshman in 2018 …
Skinner has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week three times this season (Jan. 8, Jan. 23, Jan. 29).

Winner Skinner
Two-time NCAA champion, two-time NCAA all-around runner-up and 18-time All-American
MyKayla Skinner is one of the winningest gymnasts in Utah and Pac-12 history. Skinner holds the Utah record for all-around wins in a season (12 in 2017) and is second in career all-around wins (25, 2017-present). Her 94 total career wins ranks fourth in program history. Skinner won NCAA titles on floor in 2017 and vault in 2018. The Pac-12 all-around champion as a freshman and sophomore, Skinner owns Pac-12 records for most Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week awards in a season (7) and a career (15), as well as most Pac-12 Freshman of the Week awards (6).
