This Week in Utah Gymnastics
The No. 6 Utah gymnasts (10-2, 5-1 Pac-12) will close their dual meet season at No. 8 Georgia (9-4, 4-3 SEC) in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Mar. 16 at 4 p.m. ET/2 p.m. MT. The meet will be televised on SEC Network Plus, which is available through the ESPN app. Live Utah commentary and scores for will be provided on UtahUtes.com.

In the Rankings
While off with a bye last week, Utah slipped one place in the rankings to No. 6 in the country. The Utes are No. 2 in the nation on vault, No. 4 on floor, No. 5 on bars and No. 10 on beam.
MyKayla Skinner is No. 2 (tie) in the all-around, No. 2 on vault, No. 4 (tie) on bars, No. 9 (tie) on floor and No. 18 (tie) on beam.
MaKenna Merrell-Giles is No. 12 in the all-around, No. 6 on vault and No. 25 (tie) on floor.
Kari Lee is No. 14 (tie) on beam and

Attendance Champs!
The Utah gymnasts have won their ninth all-sport attendance title for women and their 35th gymnastics attendance crown by averaging 14,842 fans a meet in the Huntsman Center. Utah gymnastics also led all women's sports in attendance in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Utah's 2019 attendance ranks fifth in school and NCAA gymnastics history. Utah drew the five biggest gymnastics crowds in the country this year, including sellouts of 15,558 vs. Arizona, California and UCLA. The 2019 Utes also set a new mark for season tickets (9,830). Chalk Talk
The 10-2 Utes are 4-0 on the road this season. Utah's losses were to No. 5 LSU at the GymQuarters Invitational in St. Charles, Mo., and to No. 2 UCLA at home … The Utes are coming off the 12th regular-season bye in the 44-year history of the program. Other regular-season byes were in 1977, 1978 (2), 1980, 1982, 1993, 2001, 2008 (2), 2012 and 2018 … After concluding the regular season at Georgia this Saturday, the Utes will begin postseason play on Saturday, Mar. 23 at the Pac-12 Championships in West Valley City, Utah. The Utes were 5-1 in Pac-12 dual meets … The 2019 Utes have scored above a 197.000 in all 10 meets thus far, setting a school record for consecutive 197.000 scores. The old record was seven.

Winner Skinner
Two-time NCAA champion, two-time NCAA all-around runner-up and 18-time All-American
MyKayla Skinner is one of the winningest gymnasts in Utah and Pac-12 history. Skinner holds the Utah record for all-around wins in a season (12 in 2017) and is second in career all-around wins (26, 2017-present). Her 103 total career wins ranks third in program history. Skinner won NCAA titles on floor in 2017 and vault in 2018. The Pac-12 all-around champion as a freshman and sophomore, Skinner owns Pac-12 records for most Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week awards in a season (7) and a career (15), as well as most Pac-12 Freshman of the Week awards (6).
