SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah women's tennis team will face a quick turnaround this week as they take on the Denver Pioneers on the road tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m. MT.

Tomorrow's match will be a clash of two ranked teams with Utah sitting at No. 47 and Denver tying for 43
rd in last week's ITA rankings. The Utes are 11-5 overall and are coming off a sweep of the Oregon Ducks on Sunday.
Utah's 7-0 win over Oregon yesterday was its first win over the Ducks since 2016 when the Utes beat them 4-3.
Brianna Chisholm and
Madison Tattini got things started by clinching the singles point with a 6-3 win on the No. 1 court, sending the Utes into singles play with momentum.
After Oregon forfeited on court six,
Whitney Hekking put the Utes up 2-0 on court five with a 6-2, 6-0 win.
Emily Dush would be the next win for the Utes, defeating Paiton Wagner in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.
On court four,
Lindsay Hung won 6-2, 6-3 before Chisholm would claim a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Tattini would finish out the match for the Utes in a tough battle on court two, winning the first set 6-4, losing the second in extra points and then coming back to win the tiebreaker set 10-7 for the 7-0 team win.
After Utah's trip to Denver, they will remain on the road for a pair of Pac-12 matches, taking on No. 11 UCLA on Friday, April 5 at 1 p.m. MT followed by a Saturday afternoon match at No. 16 USC (1 p.m. MT).
