* Utah is only school to qualify for all 38 NCAA Gymnastics Championships and is making a record 44th consecutive trip to nationals dating back to the 1976 AIAW Championship.

Championships Start on Apr. 19
Utah opens NCAA competition in the Fort Worth Convention Center on Friday, Apr. 19 in the afternoon semifinal at noon CT/11 a.m. MT. Competing with No. 5 Utah are No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 LSU and No. 6 Michigan. The evening semifinal (6 p.m. CT/5 p.m. MT) features No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Denver, No. 7 Georgia and No. 8 Oregon State. The top two teams from each semi will advance to the NCAA Final on Saturday, Apr. 20 at 6 p.m. CT/5 p.m. MT.

Broadcast Schedule
The ESPN family will televise every session of the competition live with semifinal 1 on ESPN2, semifinal 2 on ESPNU (joined in progress on ESPN2) and the final on ESPNU. The announcers are

Kathy Johnson-Clarke. Utah alum
Holly Rowe is on the "sidelines." All sessions will be streamed live on ESPN3. ESPN 700 radio with
Mike Lageschulte and
Maddy Stover will broadcast Utah's competitions.

Utah enters NCAA play with a 21-5 overall record … Utah was runner-up at both the Pac-12 Championship and at regionals … The Utes drew the same rotation for the NCAA Championship semifinal as they did for the regional final on Apr. 5: floor, vault, bars and beam … Utah is 1-4 this season against the teams in its semifinal. Utah lost to LSU in the GymQuarters Invitational in Missouri and again in regional finals in Baton Rouge. The Utes lost to UCLA at home and finished second to the Bruins at the Pac-12 Championship. Utah beat Michigan at home.

MyKayla Skinner ran her NCAA record for routines performed without a fall to 161 before falling for the first time of her college career on bars in the regional final on Apr. 6. She has now hit 162-163 career routines … Skinner performs the most difficult vault and floor routines in NCAA gymnastics. Her vault is a Yurchenko double and her floor routine opens with a double twisting double back and ends with a full in. She also performs double back dismounts on both bars and beam and the straddled Ray release move on bars—all rarities in college gymnastics …

All-Time All-American
With her four 2019 regular season All-America awards,
MyKayla Skinner is already Utah's all-time leader in All-America awards with 22 (regular season and NCAA Championship combined). Skinner passed former Ute great Ashley Postell who was a 20-time All-American from 2005-08. All of Postell's awards were won at the NCAA Championships, where she earned the maximum number of 20 possible (the WCGA began awarding regular season All-America honors in 2013). Nineteen of Skinner's 22 All-America honors are first team (eight NCAA, 11 regular season) and the remaining three are second team. She has two NCAA individual championships (floor in 2017 and vault in 2018).

MyKayla Skinner's 34 victories this season leads the team and is tied for eighth in school history (she also had 34 wins in 2018). Her 43 wins in 2017 ranks second all-time at Utah. Skinner's 111 career victories ranks third in school history and she is one win away from tying for second with Theresa Kulikowski (112 from 1999-2003). Among Skinner's career victories are two NCAA championships (vault, 2017; floor, 2018), eight NCAA regional titles (including the all-around and floor this season) and seven Pac-12 championships (including vault and floor in 2019). Skinner's seven career Pac-12 golds is tied for second in conference history.
