BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) has announced the 2022 Regular Season All-Americans with five Utah gymnasts earning an honor on at least one event. It is the third consecutive season that Utah has had five gymnasts earn regular season honors.
Freshman
Grace McCallum led the selections from the Utes with two first team honors and one second team selection. The Olympic silver medalist earned her first All-America awards from top-eight finishes in the nation in the all-around and on bars, while earning second-team honors on floor.
McCallum ended the regular season tied for second in the country on the uneven bars with a 9.955 National Qualifying Score. She was sixth in the nation in the all-around after recording a 39.650 NQS as a freshman. Rounding out the Isanti, Minn., native's awards was her 9.945 NQS on floor that tied for 12th in the nation.
Utah landed three All-America awards on the balance beam this season as
Maile O'Keefe finished tied for third in the nation with a 9.970 NQS and
Cristal Isa finished tied for fifth overall with a 9.960 NQS. Earning a second-team nod on beam was
Abby Paulson, who posted a 9.935 NQS. The spots on the All-American team on beam for O'Keefe, Isa, and Paulson mark the trio's third-straight season of regular season honors on the apparatus.
Rounding out the regular season awards for Utah was fifth year senior
Sydney Soloski. Soloski pulled in her third consecutive regular season All-America honor on floor and second-straight first team honor. Soloski ended the regular season with a 9.960 NQS, which ranked sixth in the nation.
Student-athletes with the top eight National Qualifying Scores for the regular season (with ties) for each event and in the all-around earn All-America honors. Second team All-America honors are earned by student-athletes ranking No. 9-16 (with ties) in the NQS.

Utah Gymnastics is set to compete at the NCAA Seattle Regional next Thursday, March 31, at Alaska Airlines Arena. The Red Rocks will take on No. 13 Oregon State, Illinois, and the winner of the Stanford/San Jose State play-in meet.
