SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team returns to the Beehive State to welcome in former WAC rival Hawai'i this Thursday, Nov. 30, inside the Delta Center for a 7 p.m. (MT) tip-off. Drew Goodman will have the call alongside former head coach Mike Montgomery on Pac-12 Networks as the Runnin' Utes and Rainbow Warriors duke it out for the 61st time in program history.

MAUI FIRE RELIEF
The Utah athletics department has teamed up with the Sape Foundation to raise money in support of those affected by the fires in Maui. Since the fires, the Sape Foundation have focused its fundraising efforts to support the people of Maui. These efforts are led by a pair of former Utah student-athletes, Lavaule Sape and Kawika Casco – who currently serves as a firefighter in Maui.

RAINBOW WARRIOR RUNDOWN
Utah will have a tough opponent this Thursday when it battles Hawai'i inside the Delta Center. The Rainbow Warriors are having their best start to the season since 2010-11, checking in at 5-0 after winning the Acrisure Invitational this past weekend. UH has had success against the Pac-12, going 6-5 overall in the Pac-12 Era with recent wins over Washington State (2022), Utah (2018) and Colorado (2018).

LAST TIME OUT
Utah picked up its first true road victory in non-conference play since beating Nevada in the 2019-20 opener this past Monday night when it defeated Saint Mary's 78-71. Utah was led by
Rollie Worster and
Gabe Madsen who had 17 points apiece while
Cole Bajema chipped in with 14 points of his own. Worster also pulled down 8 rebounds of his own in the win.
Lawson Lovering added 9 points while
Branden Carlson had 7 points and 7 boards.
Ben Carlson had 8 points off the bench thanks to a 5-for-6 night at the line while
Keba Keita returned to the line-up with 4 points and 6 boards to go with a block and steal as well.

The Runnin' Utes return to the friendly confines of the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Tuesday, Dec. 5, to begin its six-game homestand in the month of December when it entertains Southern Utah for a 6 p.m. (MT) tip on Pac-12 Networks with Krista Blunk and Don MacLean on the call as the Utes and Thunderbirds face off for just the 12th time in program history.

Utah will welcome in another in-state foe a few days later on Saturday, Dec. 9, when the Red vs. Blue rivalry returns to the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Guy Haberman and Bill Walton will have the action as on Pac-12 Networks as the two heated rivals duke it out on the hardwood floor at 5 p.m. (MT).
