SAN FRANCISCO – University of Utah senior
Jaedyn Rucker was named the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week on Tuesday afternoon after recording her first career Perfect 10 last weekend against California. The award marks her fourth career selection as a Pac-12 Specialist of the Week and the first this season.
Rucker anchored the vault lineup against Cal where she went on to score the first Perfect 10 of her career on vault. Utah's reigning national champion on the event became the first Ute to score a 10.0 on vault since the 2020 season. She had previously scored a 9.975 or better four times in her career before achieving perfection last Friday night.
Rucker's 10.0 on vault closed out a 49.525 on vault for the Red Rocks, which tied a season high. She also scored a 9.875 on floor to close out her night. Rucker has now won four vault titles this season and has 10 vault wins in her career. She leads the team on vault where she is ranked 12th in the nation with a 9.90 NQS.
With Rucker's selection, Utah has picked up five Pac-12 weekly awards this season. Rucker,

Kara Eaker (Jan. 17) have been named Pac-12 Specialists of the Week, while
